Chicken Little?
The latest news with our chickens/pets.
Well, our baby chickens (Tom & Julia) are no longer with us. They were too small to fight the raccoons, but we were lucky enough to get 2 new chickens that are already grown & laying eggs! The black one is Isaac's & the brown one is for whoever can catch it. Jacob was our lucky winner last week as he figured out how to swoop it up! We are now lucky to get about 2 eggs per day. I need some egg recipes! So far, I'm really enjoying them as pets. I don't have to touch them or even touch their poo (a quick hose job to the coop does the job!). Feeding them is easy because they just eat our leftover food. I feed them yummy leftover cake, they give me an egg. A great trade if you ask me.

Cute pictures form Vegas! I can't wait until my brothers start having kids and we finally get some cousins on my side of the family!
My girls would love to have chickens! Me not so much- except that fresh eggs would be pretty cool. I still remember kids walking around Laie holding chickens. That is one sight I didn't expect to see in Hawaii.
you are one brave momma! i don't even want a dog around but chickens...who knew you were a farm girl!
