GOBBLE, GOBBLE!
Happy Thanksgiving...

Dinner at Grandpa & Grandma Anderson's was wonderful!

Papa Norm (my dad) got to spend Thanksgiving with us this year. The day after, we took him around town looking at houses, checked out a few beaches, and got some quality play time with the boys.We wanted to go all the way down the Indianola Dock, but Papa wasn't used to the windy, cold & wet weather yet so we just took a peak. We warmed up quickly with a yummy snack from the General Store on the corner.

I am thankful for my Dad.

Getting ready to cook our turkey. Papa convinced us that deep frying a turkey is the way to go...so that is exactly what we did for our own turkey. It was amazing!! It took all of 43 minutes to actually cook a 14 lb. turkey and it probably was the most juicy and tasty that I've ever had. If you haven't tried one yet, then you are missing out!

John, the deep fryn' man. Happy Turkey Day!

That turkey sounds so good. Did you have to buy a special sized deep fryer? I think I have seen them at costco before.

That view from your in laws house is amazing and of course makes me want to move there even more. If we came to visit this summer is ther a hotel/motel close by that we could stay at? What is the name of your school district?

I am glad that you had a great Thanksgiving - how fun for your Dad to be there!

I am really gonna have to try your turkey method next time. I am still too wounded from my turkey mishap, that it might be a while before I can put it all behind me and try it again!
