My dear Aunt Joan....My aunt passed away this week and it has been a huge loss in our family. Although it was expected, due to the health she was in...it is never easy to say good-bye. During these past few weeks, all I can be thankful for is my faith and knowing that there will be a day when we shall meet again. Aunt Joan had a special place in our hearts and our lives...she was my mom's twin sister and we were like her children in so many ways. She is a wonderful example of living your dreams, showing acts of love & kindness, and as a servant of God. She will be missed.
Loved & cherished by her family. This is just part of our family that came over to my parent's house after the funeral. It was a happy time to to celebrate Aunt Joan's life and to remember that our family is here to love, support & comfort each other when times are rough.
