Isaac Turns 5 yrs. Old!
Happy Birthday...

Isaac was very aware that his birthday was here & very excited to be turning 5. His birthday landed on Sunday this year, so we got him dressed quickly & let him open presents before church (as long as none of the toys were brought to church....he of course was perfectly fine with this deal).

Isaac is saying "WOW", Jacob is crying because he doesn't get to open gifts.

It is hard to believe that 5 years ago I gave birth to my first son. I've learned so much from Isaac & I'm so grateful for him...he teaches me patience every single day (sometimes I totally blow it though & somehow he forgives me). Isaac still likes to be involved in whatever adults are doing as long as it isn't WORK...although he does enjoy using the power tools or shovel every once in a while. He is very smart & great at riding his bike.

Some of our cousins were in from out of town so we had an instant party for Isaac. We got a yummy pizza dinner along with cake and ice cream!

A birthday rainbow... It had been raining all day & as we were finishing our party, a bright rainbow popped right out in front of the house. It was beautiful-
God's special gift to Isaac I guess.

Fall looks so fun around your house. Your wood pile looks good!
How sweet that there was a birthday rainbow for your handsome 5 year old.
He is so much bigger! And cuter, too! Five is a big birthday. Wish we could have been there to celebrate!
Is that seriously the view from your house. How beautiful! And impressive wood pile too. Sounds like a fun couple of birthdays.
