BOWIE
We've been talking about getting a dog, but are not ready to commit. John's boss let us dog sit this past weekend to see what it would be like to have a dog around the house. This dog was AWESOME! Although a little too big for my liking, this dog was the most behaved, quiet, sweet & obedient canine that I have ever met. When it was time to give him a treat, he did a series of tricks-depending on your demands.... Bowie, sit (done!) Bowie, roll over (done!), Bowie, speak (done!) It was really fun to borrow a dog!
The kids were thrilled. My house has never been cleaner. They didn't pull out any toys because they played with Bowie the whole time!
I actually missed him the day that John took him back. I am still on my dog hunt because it will be a dog for me (a girl preferably seeing how a human girl is not in my future!)

i am glad that the dog sitting went well. you will have to keep us posted on the dog search. my mom is in town until sat so i will give you a call once she is gone and we can get together.
