LET IT SNOW, LET IT SNOW, LET IT SNOW...
Well, the roads were wet & full of ice, but we made it up the mountain. Idyllwild is only about 25 minutes from our house, so it is pefect to visit when we are up for a Sunday drive.
Evan, was not too impressed with the COLD snow as you can see from his picture. He was freezing cold before he even got out of the car. Isaac thought it was pretty "cool" until he got out of the car & sunk about a foot- eventually getting his legs & feet wet. Jake got about 2 seconds of standing time in the actual snow- just enough for a pic.
Next time we'll have to be a little more prepared & get all geared up! At least it was a fun family experience.

Sounds like you needed some sleds or tire tubes...that is what we always like about that much snow!!!
Yeah! How fun to live so close to the snow! That is exactly how I would like it, not at my house but 25 minutes away! We would LOVE to see you next time you head up this way. we are 76 miles north of vegas but the drive really takes less than an hour and we are really close to the freeway so you don't have to stray to far. We are going to California to visit for Christmas so we will have to see about putting Temecula on our "places to go" list.
