Aunt Claire got some special bonding time with Jacob.

Aunt Joan with all the kiddies. They took a nice little walk around the backyard.

Las Vegas!
A Trip For The Aunties...

I got to go home this past week to say good-bye to my family. Even though we will get to see them in August, it was hard to leave knowing that our convienient trips back & forth from Vegas and California are no longer. I did get to see my Aunts (my mom's sisters) that I haven't seen in a long time. My Aunt Claire was visiting from WA & my Aunt Joan moved from Nashville to be with family. Aunt Joan has just be diagnosed with cancer & is just starting her fight to live strong & healthy during this difficult time. We are so thankful that she is able to be close to family, who can be with her & share special memories with her. I also got to see MY niece, Emma. She is so cute & I will miss having our special play days with the boys.
Thanks everyone for a special trip!

I'm glad you were able to take one more trip to Vegas. And I hope the beach was nice yesterday! Have a very safe trip to Washington. I look forward to talking to you soon. By the way, I cried on the way home from the ward picnic! I will definitely miss you! And my kids will miss your boys!

I just caught up on your blog. I have been so swamped lately that I havne't had the chance to do anything! I am so exited you guys are going to be in Washington . . . I know the Tri-Cities is no Las Vegas, but at least we can all get togeter everyonce in a while! So awesome. Let us know when you get here and are all settled in. Then we can plan something!

That must be hard leaving your family even farther behind. But John's is in Washington right? Well a new adventure awaits. Did you guys sell that house or were you renting it all this time? We are trying to rent our condo out currently and hope to move into a house here in murrieta area still sometime this summer. So I too will be experincing the joy of packing but not nearly to the extent you have to going out of state. I wish I was closer that you could leave your boys with me so you could pack. Hopefully you have good help there for you at least that is what I have found here. Well look forward in seeing you through this process...
