~Don't Judge A Book By Its Cover~
Or A Container For That Matter.

The kids decided to eat lunch today in thier cars. Too bad I didn't have a pair of skates to give them the whole experince! They spent the whole day playing with these containers. At first they were boats, but then saw how fast they could push them down our hill & made them cars. Later in the day we ventured down to our beach & the kids made them boats again. They put their life jackets on, get about waist high in the water & push their sailboats in the water. They are clear that they are NOT motor boats, just slow & quiet sailboats. I love containers!

Makes you wonder why you spend money on toys doesn't it?!

All your pictures look so beautiful. The scenery is so inviting. I think we really do need to come visit.

I also have that same shirt you are wearing (the same house as that cool planter box) except mine is green.:)

How darlin of them and using their creative minds! You know my mother always said that us kids (me and siblings) would have a ball if my dad brought home a huge box! I have learned now that my kids love big boxes and there laundry baskets to play in!

Kids are so clever. Who really needs toys? You live in such a cool place, with beaches and tide pools close by. What a kid's paradise!
