Elkins Family Reunion:
We just had a huge family reunion in Eagle, Idaho. I think we had nearly 70 people there total. We got to spend 3 days with family from John's mom's side of the family and we didn't get too many pictures because we spent most of our time in the water! We went from one pool to another & one river to another!
The first day we spent visiting with family as we all rolled in at different times. We jumped into the pool right away & hardly got out! The next day I got to go river rafting with some of the family while John stayed back with the kids and went swimming. The river rapids that we went on got up to a class 4, which for a first-timmer was pretty exciting! We went swimmin that night & then had a big bike parade for all of the kids. That is where most of my pictures in the slide show were taken. The next day we went on a much calmer river with most of the family and the kids really enjoyed floating down in the rafts.
Overall, it was so great to catch up with cousins again & get to know them better. The kids were sooo wiped out from running & playing, staying up late, swimming, eating. We all had a blast & can't wait for another fun family event!

holy cow...it took me about an hour to get caught up on your blog!!! your new place is super cute...and the yard is amazing. i would be loving life if i had that yard for my kids...they would be loving life i guess i should say!! it looks like you had a serious adventure moving and doing all the other things you've been up too the past few weeks. glad you guys are doing good.
Did you know that Eagle Idaho is right next to where we live?! I am glad that you had fun...whish we could have seen you! Maybe next time.
Looks like a fun family reunion and 4th of July! I know I say this every time but your boys are so cute!
it was so fun to see everyone and great to meet you and your kids. your kids are great! i love their personalities and they are sooo cute!
it was tons of fun. i do think it would be fun to live closer. we would have a lot of fun together. i wish we could have a reunion every year-
i saw the slide show on your blog and thought that would be a great way to share my pictures as i have such a hard time picking one or two out of so many. so i stole it from you he-he!
