CHRISTMAS
2009
The holiday season has now come & gone. It is already mid-January and I've just put the last of my holiday decorations back in their boxes. It feels WONDERFUL to start a new year and to gear up for yet another year of growth, love, happiness, and adventure.

We tore through our gifts pretty slowly this year. The kids played with each new thing before going on to the next. Not too much damage to clean up.

Christmas afternoon we went to the Anderson's for lunch. Jacob & the other two boys got real cap guns (one short, one long). Here is Jake asleep in the car on the way there...boots, gun, and sleep--what else could a 3-yr. old boy ask for?

Thank you Papa & Grandma Jane!

Evan all geared up.

Family Tradition: Early Christmas morning we all wait at the top of the stairs to go down to see what Santa has brought us TOGETHER! A little sleepy, and really excited.

Santa came to our house!

Family Tradition: New Christmas PJ's for everyone.

Happy Holidays! Where is that mistletoe?

Carlie, Roxy, Kes, Jacob, Evan & Faro...
We all gathered at John's parent's home for Christmas Eve dinner & presents from each other. There was lots of energy & excitement--I'm surprised I even got a photo of the kids sitting!

Sophie and JoAnna
I wonder if she asked Santa for those two front teeth!? She is such a cute niece. I can hardly believe how fast she is growing up.

Jacob all ready for dinner...and presents too.

Isaac & Evan...

MERRY CHRISTMAS & HAPPY NEW YEAR!

New bikes, fishing poles and guns...what more could 3 boys ask for?
They must have been on Santa's good list - as to be expected of course.
PS We always got new pjs for Christmas too - one of my favorite things!
