John has Testicular Cancer. Surgery has been done. In the process of Chemo for 2 cycles. He will lose his hair & be sick...that is for sure. We are hoping to have this behind us by the end of the year. He will be a survivor. He is so loved by many. John has received meals, treats, cards & lots of phone calls. This is a bump in the road that we did not expect, but have faith that we can get through this with some ease.

Holy Crap! I am putting his name in the St. George Temple tomorrow morning! When did we get old enough to worry about this kind of stuff! We will add our prayers to your prayers. We know the Lord is with us through our trials (we went through a lot last year when Kai started having seizures).
We love you and are thinking about you.
PS. Hawaii really gets in your soul doesn't it. I still remember the first time I saw you leaving the dorms to go play tennis with John. I had a lot more pictures to put up but blogger wouldn't let me- they'll have to come later:)

I had no idea! My brother in law also got testicular cancer when he was 17 years old. Did some high dose chemo and went into remission and he is now at 30 yrs old doing great.
I am so glad to hear John will survive. Lots of love and prayers coming your way! <3
