EASTER
This Easter was lots of fun. We got to do a community egg hunt, dye eggs with good friends, enjoy a nice church service & have a wonderful Easter dinner with John's family... all of the things that make Easter so wonderful. The weather wasn't the best (pouring rain all day), but we enjoyed the holiday anyway.
The boys were surprised with 2 new baby chickens that are only a couple of days old. One will be white & the other will be white with black spots. They are seriously the best pets ever. Isaac I'm sure will grow up to be some kind of pet caregiver because he enjoys them (animals) so much. I just love Spring...baby animals all over, beautiful flowers began to bloom, and the air is crisp & full of new life. So much to be thankful for.

Easter basket goodies!
We got to dye eggs with our friends Rich & Angela and their family. The kids really got the hang of it this year. Evan wanted to draw on each one, Isaac was a machine....I looked over & he had a long row of just red (dip & dry, dip & dry), and Jake would stir the egg like crazy & then made sure to drop each on so they got that "distressed look." Overall, they did great!
Checking out their goods from the local Easter egg hunt. Their old preschool put it on & it was lots of fun. It had been raining all morning, so they were bundled in their warm jackets & rain boots.
Way to go boys!

Your family really is so cute. I love how serious they look while they are dying egg. I always thought I would do Malachi's hair in that mohawk style that your boys are sporting for his year old pictures. He is 19 months now and still doesn't have enough hair to do it!

i don't really have any tips for long hair. he decided he wanted long hair so we just have let it grow and have never given him another hair cut. his hair is really thick and straight so it just lays like that. i love beckam's hair long, too but he likes it short and so it goes...
Looks like fun. Jealous of your Hawaii vacation. I'm glad you guys had so much fun. I remember when you were just married hanging out with you in Hawaii. That was a fun day.
We had three boys right in a row too!
Now they are 13,12 and 10 and a half.
